On Craigslist: Bankrupt Mother of Two, Seeking Room @ Insurance CEO Mansion

An interesting Craigslist posting:
I’m seeking a room to rent in Cigna CEO Ed Hanway’s $13.6 million dollar mansion. (We’ll take a room in one of his three beach homes, too.) My family would be very quiet and courteous housemates, and given the size of Ed's mansion, he won't even hear us!
I'll be bringing along my two twin girls, both of whom were diagnosed with cancer at the age of four. CIGNA is refusing to pay for the human growth hormone they need to grow properly - and the out-of-pocket expenses for this treatment are forcing us to look elsewhere for housing.
I’m sure Ed knows that 62% of all bankruptcies in America are caused by medical debt, and the majority of those people had health insurance. It’s time insurance company profits went back into providing health care to their customers – not CEO profits. #sickofit
Seem like, thanks to SEIU, Stacie Ritter's story is getting around.

This is a very important part of this debate. The insurance companies cannot be allowed to deny claims such as these when their purpose is to "ensure" that their clients' health needs are met.
I have been reading many articles regarding the health care debate in this country and so many medical professionals even agree that "Our current fee-for-service, market-based system is highly inefficient with redundant administrative costs and abundant opportunities for waste, fraud and abuse. The current system is also focused on “sick care.” We have a system that pays doctors and insurers more for treatment of disease and illness than for prevention and wellness services." The medical industry needs to be reigned in, in order to stabilize the system and provide quality care for all.
So go and get that room, and it better be rent free since he's already gotten enough rent from you and your family!
