A new survey found that 71 percent of people think members of Congress are paying too little attention to what people like them are saying about changes to the health care system. And the people were proven right when amendments that would have added a public health insurance plan option — which the vast majority of the people support — were defeated yesterday in the Senate Finance Committee. But it’s not too late to make your voice heard. Call your Senators and demand a public health insurance option.
They're not hearing us because we don't have a big corporation to back us. It is all to evident that it is "United Corporation of America" not United States. Washington is in the insurance industry's back pocket…We need the Dem's to stand against all who don't support the Single Payer system..or at least a good public option…We need HCAN Parade the profits the congress members are making "keeping the status quo".
Did you watch the recent National Parks series, if the railroads and corporations of the day prevailed we would not have had the national parks either. It was again the money making ability of the few wanting to take advantage of masses and of nature itself.
