It’s Time to Pull the Trigger on a Public Health Insurance Plan Option!

The New York Times describes the trigger as "a possible compromise under which the government would offer its own health plan only if private insurers failed to provide affordable coverage." By that criterion, it's time to pull the trigger! Don't be fooled. The trigger is a bullet aimed straight at the heart of the public health insurance plan option.
We absolutely need a public option, without question. As a life-time Democrat (53 yrs. young), I've been fighting this battle my entire life. Unfortunately, our voices have not been heard, and the wealthy Insurance industry continues to control our country and our decision processes, with their purse strings.
We must stand united and not lose this fight. Or, we'll forever be controlled by our escalating insurance costs. For their only benefit of making the Insurance company executives, wealthier. They literally (insurance companies) provide NO (ZERO) benefit to Americans, once we have a strong effective public option.
