Sarah Shive at the Campaign for America's Future knows:

In watching town hall after town hall, many of us have looked at attendees frantically spouting nonsense about "death panels" and comparing the public health insurance option to Hitler and wondered, "where do they get these people?"

Mandatory healthcare for folks who choose to have 12 kids without the ability to support them. Mandatory healthcare for illegals. Increasing the taxes on those who have taken the chances needed to be successful. You folks are an embarassment to our great nation and ought to have your asses kicked.

Paul Roden says:

Dear Business Owner:

By forcing the poor and the people who have lost their insurance to go to the emergency room for their medical care that drives the cost of medical care up for all of us. Premiums paid by business owners and employees continue to skyrocket up. The present employer base health insurance system is not economically sustainable. It is making our companies less competitive globally because other countries have universal healthcare paid for out of tax revenues, socialized care or private insurance is tightly regulated to cover everybody and can not kick people off their insurance because they are too sick, too injured or "have pre-existing conditions." Why pay money to for profit health insurance companies who are not providing care? What we need is improved and expanded Medicare for all, where the administrative cost is only about 4% and not 30% as the for profit health insurance companies have. Pass HR 676 and SB 703. It is cost effective, increases the risk pool and not the salaries of health insurance CEO's. According to our own CIA Factbook, our life expectancy and infant mortality rate now makes our health care system 44th, slipping from 37th. The richest nation on Earth with the best technology can surely do better than that. The "invisible hand of the unregulated, free market, never has and never will solve this crisis. Only the government of "we, the people" can.

Your chart did not include the Hudson Institute that pays Betsy McCaughey. She's the one who made up the "death panels" hoax. I would like to know more about the people who created the Medicare cuts hoax and the socialized medicine hoax. Who originated the story that says Medicare rations health care?

Lee says:

I can't find the website showing the millions of dollars going to the Congresspeople who are on the Finance Committee and any other dealing with the new Insurance Reform. They should recuse themselves. No one deciding these bills should be on "the take".
