Hey Anthem Blue Cross, your astroturf is showing

Hey Anthem Blue Cross, your astroturf is showing:
Of all of the right wing Republican extremists who came out to unleash their anti-health care hysteria to Congressman Chris Murphy in Simsbury yesterday, this guy takes the cake.
The voice of the people? Ha!
Here's a fun example of astroturfing in its purest form: A woman attending a town hall event for Rep. Steve Kagen (D-WI), and–while loudly raising objections to the Democrats' health care reform proposal–insisting she's just a regular concerned citizen. Except, she's actually a GOP official.
Heather Blish was vice-chairman of the Kewaunee County GOP until 2008, and, according to her own resume, is affiliated with the Republican National Committee.
GOP operatives and Anthem employees. That's your "spontaneous uprising," folks. That, and lots of Nazi paraphernalia.

This association of GOP with hate groups should motivate and unite pro-health care voters and MoveOn.Org to establish a Commission on Crime Against Humanity and round up all the criminals who benefit from maintaining the present system. These include:
– Insurance companies (CEOs, investors)
– Doctors who made lucrative decisions costing lives
– Beneficiaries Congress, government, and the legal system
They are the ones who send millions of insured into financial ruins, health crisis, and eventually death. The present system supports rich murderers. This is a humanitarian crisis, no matter what the brainwashed/uneducated elements (and their rich/educated exploiters) from the far right are saying to scare undecided potential supporters going to the Town Hall meetings. OK, some are concerned, but mainly out of fear – that could be because there are in fact a lot of useless government employees who could not care less since they got a job for life. These elements must be yanked out to clean out government before healthcare can succeed in a way that it could get support from left and right.
GOP and supporters hate big government, but they like big insurance (like Blue Cross), big pharmacy, big corporations with CEOs with Big paychecks and golden parachutes, and anything big that is too big to fail. Yes, and they like BIG guns, too, thanks to an overbloated NRA (and their friends in Congress and government), so that is so much the more we need healthcare –to treat victims of gun violence who will no doubt have plenty of pre-existing conditions to worry about. Where does the NRA stand on this, by the way???
As long as pre-existing conditions (and necessary medications are covered, a tax system should cover these expenses (instead of co-pays, co-insurance, deductible). This is about social and moral responsibility!
Those who are unemployed should be required to perform community service and present evidence of attempts to find jobs, however, instead of taking advantage of this system. The last thing we need is a welfare state.

Correction to the August 7 posting: In my initial posting, I wrote:
– Beneficiaries Congress, government, and the legal system
My apologies for the error! It should say:
– Beneficiaries IN Congress, government, and the legal system — in other words, just about anyone in power and position who turns a blind eye to this crisis, and abuses/exploits his/her power and position to do so.
These people give capitalism a bad name. Capitalism with a Conscience is not Socialism, but this is what some on the far right are telling those who can't tell the difference. Read — Research — Open Your Eyes — and Vote for Change! This is not about Obama or Democrats — it is about everyone that the God you believe in brought into this world!

I'm an insurance agent in CT, a Bluecross policyholder and I strongly support a national healthcare program. I understand those who oppose this. But consider that the way it is now,
none of the protections are working. I hit the roof on the 30% rate hike news. I called Blue Cross who would not tell me the
% they were requesting. They could, but they would not. Why?
Because they know I'll shop around. They don't want that. That's why they wanted this to to happen in just 90 days.
Then I called the Insurance Dept. They said that they couldn't tell me that information. The spirit of the law is something called a "PULIC FILING" It's supposed to be a notice, so that I am notified. But notice that I am NOT. Notice that the system is not working to protect me. So, do you think I'd choose a gov option health plan? Certainly. It couldn't be any worse.
