I was at the rally yesterday!
I can't tell you how important it was to have something like this at this particular point in time. I look at it as a sort 'kick-off' event for the home stretch in the campaign to bring universal health care to America.
Wonderful job, HCAN! I'm so proud of how blue and progressive we are in Chicago.

P.S. Considering that only a handful of right-wingers managed to show up — it really was pathetic — we would have been entitled to chant: "They've got the Kooks, We've got the People!"
Rep. Schakowsky said it all - she was terrific as were all the others - couldn't even hear the few who thought they were protesting.
Health Care For All? Why not try getting off your LAZY ASSES and getting a job and insurance instead of milking those that actually have a job, good insurance and dont want to have to pay for your laziness? Look at all the protesters in the above picture, not at a job but instead begging for MORE! Stop bleeding this country dry. Move to Canada. Go on a waiting list when you have terminal cancer. A waiting list is what you will go on when you need something done.

Couldn't agree with you more Chris. The government already shown they can't manage medicare and medicaid and these twits want to give them control of 1/6th of the nations economy. I want to live in the United States of America…not the Socialist States of Obama. Oh and by the way…how come all these signs are printed from a print shop? Betcha ACORN/SEIU had something to do with it eh? The 1000 here don't even come close to the 10,000 that were in Columbus protesting Socialized health care and supporting the Constitution.
