Republican Health Care Plan Isn't Actually A Plan

Posted on June 17th, 2009 by Jason Rosenbaum in Profits Before People

You don't even need a subscription to Roll Call to get the details on the Republican health plan released by the GOP health care task force, today, led by Roy Blunt. Here's the first paragraph of the article, which you can read without subscribing:

House Republicans presented a four-page outline of their health care reform plan Wednesday but said they didn’t know yet how much it would cost, how they would pay for it and how many of the nearly 50 million Americans without insurance would be covered by it.

Yup. That about sums up the substance of the party with no ideas. Is it any wonder that GOP Congressional leaders are trusted less on health reform than the insurance industry or drug companies?
